New this year is Yankee Doodle Land which will be located on the property of Calvin’s historical Methodist Church. Read moreTown officials and representatives from various organizations were on hand Wednesday, June 21st, to dedicate the site of a new community building in Francis, Oklahoma. Ground will be broken this upcoming week for the 50x30 building; completion is expected before the year’s end. The building will be used for various community events and will be completely furnished with a kitchen, handicapped parking, and sidewalks. Funding for the building was acquired through SODA grants, the Town of Francis, and the Chickasaw Nation.
