Congratulations to the six Allen Senior FFA members getting their State Degrees in May. Earning the award were Maycee Howard, Samuel Wallace, Brody Wallis, Addison Bailey, Jacob Beavert and Ethan Ronnis. Also, Ethan and Jacob were named for their Academic Excellence by being in the top 10% in GPA nd ACT out of 732 state degree recipients.

Calvin and Stuart Fire Departments along with Hughes County EMS responded to a double structure fire on the 400 block of Oak Street in Calvin Saturday night, February 26. While no one was injured in the blaze, a family with seven children who lost everything are in desperate need.
