Senior Night, honoring 17 Allen Mustangs, will be held prior to this Friday, October 27th’s, football game against the Hartshorne Miners. The ceremony will start at 6:20 p.m.; kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.

The matter was listed on the agenda as, “Discussion and possible vote to adopt a Resolution declaring an emergency under the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 resulting from roof damage to the district’s campus caused by thunderstorms on September 23, 2023. “Discussion and possible vote to approve such contracts and to take such actions as may be immediately necessary in response to emergency conditions resulting from storm damage at the district’s campus.”

Read moreOn a night where the seniors will be honored, the Allen Mustangs will be battling to remain in the chase to extend their season. The Mustangs are currently sitting in a two-way tie with Mounds for the coveted 4th place spot in District A-6. “The next two games are so important, since the beginning of the season one of our goals is to make the playoffs and we are just a couple of wins away from securing our spot,” said Coach Matt McCreary. The Hartshorne Miners come to town sitting in 3rd place and winning 30-8 over Konawa last week. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m.
