If you didn’t care who won the game last Friday night at Stratford it would have been a perfect night. Beautiful weather, great fans, exciting cheerleaders and two tough hardhitting teams. But we do care, and the Allen Mustangs came out on the short end in a 30-22 loss to Stratford.

The Rock Creek Tournament was full of a lot of great competition. Allen got wins over Quinton (4-2); Wright City (9-6); and fell to Silo 2-5 and Wright City 9-6 and Healton 1-9. The Quinton win saw Kaylee Davis picking up the win in the circle striking out 5 and giving up 4 hits. She also picked up a double and a RBI in the game. Addison Prentice went 2 for 3 and stole 3 bases. Kryslyn Stephens stole 2 bases and Tresley Mowdy 1 Against Silo Prentice hit a home run to open the scoring. Bowerman took the loss. Bowerman, Davis and Prentice each had a hit in the 2-5 loss.
