Our Sympathy Extended to the Family of Alice Wallace

May Alice Wallace Douglas, 94 years of age, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Melbourne, Florida.

Alice was born in Allen, Oklahoma on September 14, 1927. She was the daughter of Jonny and Jodi Wallace of Allen, Oklahoma. She was married to Clifford Lee Douglas of Allen, who passed on October 20, 2016. They had three daughters, Carolyn Tillman, Jannet Cox, and Sheron Carrier. She was grandmother to Barbara Bradley, Cliff Cox, John R. Tillman III, Douglas Tillman and Ronald J. Skellie, Jr. She was blessed with many great-grandchildren.

Her career was as hairdresser and owner of Heatherly’s Beauty Shop and La Tienda Dress Shop in Natchez, Mississippi. Her career gave her many wonderful friends for life that she loved as family.

Alice was dedicated to our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and enjoyed worship at First Baptist Church in Natchez, Mississippi for 50 years.

A graveside funeral was held in Allen, Oklahoma on May 16, 2022.
