Pete Rinehart
Harrel Gene “Pete” Rinehart was born November 12, 1948 and passed away peacefully on November 16, 2021. A 1966 graduate of Allen High School, Harrel was married to his lovely wife Barbara Rinehart for 53 years.
Pete was the son of John and Ruby Dean (Rose) Rinehart; he had three siblings, Johnny, Cherry, Butch and Susie.
Harrel spent his time serving our country in the U.S. Army, serving as a deacon in his local church, and working at Agee Equipment. To anyone who knew Pete, he is one of the kindest and most forgiving people you would ever meet.
Pete cherished his family and loved spending time with all. Pete spent 26½ years of his life protecting his country in the US Army and 53 years protecting his wife and children. He had a special relationship with God and was so proud of becoming a deacon at the Beatty Baptist Church.
Pete loved outdoor activities like camping and boating, as well as woodworking, Studebakers, and his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Johnny and Butch; and sister Cherry.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of the home; children; grandchildren; and sister Susie.
Services were held at Beaty Baptist Church on Friday November 19 th at 10:00 a.m. and internment followed in the Allen Cemetery.
