Rites held for Albert Bailey

Albert Leon Bailey, 70, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Friday, September 2nd, 2022 in Weatherford.

Albert was born March 15, 1952 to his parents Walter Leon Bailey and Wanda Mae Holman (Sanders) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

As a young adult, Albert graduated from Arlington High School and then went on to pursue higher education at a Vocational School.

Albert loved helping people, as was evident by his work as a paramedic, prison counselor, and high school paraprofessional. He loved being on the lake fishing, collecting knives, spoons and most of all he found true joy in making people laugh.

Albert married the love of his life, Pamela Longorio, on June 30, 1979 in Grand Prairie Texas. Together they raised their daughters, Andrea, Stephanie, Cassy and Britney.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents Wanda and Jarel Sanders, and his biological father Leon Bailey.

Albert is survived by his wife Pamela Bailey, daughters Andrea Bills, Stephanie Suender, Cassy Bailey and Britney Bailey, brother James ‘Tiny’ Bailey, and wife Vannie ‘Skeeter’ Bailey, sister Nanette Lee and husband Wayne Lee. Grandchildren Hunter Bailey, Jocelyn Bailey, Payton Suender, Avadelle Bills, and Hayden Bailey-Pitts as well as multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 at Estes~Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 5:007:00 PM Tuesday evening at Estes-Phillips Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery in Allen, Oklahoma.
