Rites slated for Shirley Snow

Shirley Maxine Snow passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Calvin, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

Shirley was born April 22, 1938 to Ed Sheckells and Rhoda A (Owens) Sheckells in Oklahoma City. She was a CNA. Shirley enjoyed gardening, crocheting, fishing, playing card games, Dominoes and Wahoo. She loved playing with all her grandkids.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings Gloria Nickum and husband Raymond, Reva Sheckells, Paul Sheckells and wife Rubby, Pat Zumbro and husband Troy, Barbara Nye, Billie Sheckells, Mary Lou Sheckells, and Juanita Sheckells.

She is survived by her son Gary Snow and wife Tina of McAlester, son Michael Snow and wife Kristine of Checotah; grandchildren Jessie Snow and wife Joanna of Calvin, Gary Snow Jr. and wife Lesley of Parsons, Kansas, Steven Snow of Calvin, Jonathan Snow and wife Taimee of Calvin, Jessica Snow of Claremore, Keziah Snow of Checotah, Lillie Snow of Calvin, Makenzie Snow of Calvin, Miranda Snow of Calvin, Mason Snow of Calvin and Mariah Snow of Calvin. Shirley is also survived by numerous other family and friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 14 ^th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Holdenville with Rev. Walter Kuhlman officiating.

Interment will be at Bohannon Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
