Service to be held for Janell Carol Morgan

Janell Carol Morgan passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 62.

Janell as born September 3rd, 1959 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to James David Morgan and Barbara June (Elliott) Morgan. Janell graduated from Calvin Public School. She worked at Country Store Junction in Allen as a cook for many years. Janell loved playing card games on her phone, and spending time with her family.

Janell is preceded in death by her birth father James Walter Reeves and her father who raised her James David Morgan.

She is survived by her mother Barbara Morgan of the home; siblings Darrell Morgan of Calvin, and Melanie Hudson and husband Rick of Lamar; nieces and nephews Robynn Wiley and husband Braxton of Pinedale, Wyoming, Echo Morgan of Calvin, and Jacob Hudson of Lamar; and greatniece Willow Wiley of Pinedale, Wyoming.

Viewing will be 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Thursday, May 4th, at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 6th, at Free Will Baptist in Calvin, Oklahoma with Pastor Jim Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Calvin.

Pallbearers are Daniel Taylor, John Qualls, Keith Sanford, Anthony Sanford, Jimmy Catlett and Jack Cosper.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
