Service held for Christopher Franks

Christopher Lee Franks went to be the Lord on Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was born on September 5, 1978. He was 42 years old.

Chris was an Oklahoma National Guard Veteran with 16 years of service and two tours overseas. He is remembered as a beloved father, son and brother.

He leaves behind two children, Christopher and Malia of Byng; their mother, Sasha Osborne also of Byng; his father and mother, Virgil and Linda Franks of Ada; two sisters, Jennifer Daniel and her husband Duane of Allen and Allison Ross and her husband Joseph of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; six nieces and nephews, Cassidy Wilkins, Samuel Daniel, Alexander Daniel, Piper Daniel, Delaney Ross, and Olin Ross; his paternal grandmother, Lucy Mae Franks of Sasakwa, and maternal grandmother, Donna Jean Howard of Oakland, Oregon; and a multitude of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandfathers, John Franks and Billy Joe Howard, respectively; an aunt, Faye Harjo; and an uncle, Charles Boyd Howard.

Memorial service was held at Stout Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka on Friday, September 11 ^th , at 2:00 pm, at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church.
