Service held for Jimmie Bonar

Graveside services for Jimmie Lou Bonar, 87, of Ada will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 22 ^nd , at Rosedale Cemetery. Her son-in-law, Will Thompson, will officiate.

Mrs. Bonar passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. She was born November 30, 1933 near Allen, Oklahoma to Snowden James and Flora Mae (Minton) Miller. She graduated from Ada High School and received her BA and MS in counseling at East Central University.

She married Robert “Bob” Bonar, October 13, 1955. Mrs. Bonar was a teacher, school counselor, Director of Ada Campfire Girls, and a Bible Study Leader. She attended the Assembly of God Church.
