Service held for John Kemler

Services for Richard John Kemler, 77, of Ada were 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 17th, at Cedar Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Rodger Arter officiated. Burial followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Kemler passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at his home. He was born September 29, 1945 in Hinton, Oklahoma to John Donald and Celeste Kathryn Schmuecker Kemler.

He graduated from Allen High School and was a warehouse manager, district manager and truck driver.

On July 8, 1990 he married Sharlet Dale Waller in Oklahoma City.

He is survived by his wife, Sharlet of the home; one son, David Stevens and wife Sneha of Santa Fe, New Mexico; three daughters, ReDenia Douglas and husband Skip of Francis, Lisa Smith and husband Rickey of Tulsa, and Tana Rogers and husband Calvin of Burleson, Texas; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kemler was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Anthony Kemler.
