Service held for Sherry Miller

Sherry Lynn (Bohannon) Miller of Shawnee passed from this life on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Sherry was born October 5, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to J.C. and Dorothy Ann (Baker) Bohannon. She graduated from Duncan High School and received her LPN degree. Sherry worked as an LPN for many years.

She married the love of her life Allen Miller on August 25, 1990. Sherry loved the beach and her cats. She was so proud of her nieces and nephews along with her great-nieces and nephews. She would get so tickled at hearing stories about Braylie and Blaiden and seeing videos of them.

Sherry was part of the Tecumseh Amateur Radio Club and a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Dorothy Ann Bohannon; brother, Ricky Bohannon; and sister, Pat Pasquarett.

She is survived by her husband, Allen; brother, Danny “Bo” Bohannon and wife Jane; brother, Ed England; sister-inlaw, Rebecca Jane; sister-in-law, Imaleta Ingram and husband Don; nieces, Christie, Kendra, Stephanie, and Monica; nephews, Kyle, Andrew, and Eddy; God-daughter Hannah; Becky Williams and longtime friend that was like asister, Karen.

A funeral ceremony for Sherry was held on Monday, September 18th, at 10:00 am at the Walker Funeral Chapel, Shawnee. Burial was in the Allen Cemetery, Allen, Oklahoma.
