Willie Woodall Passes Away

Willie Ray Woodall passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at home in Gerty, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

Willie was born November 22nd, 1947 in Tupelo, Oklahoma to Willie Woodall and Bertha South Woodall. Willie graduated from Gerty public schools. He enlisted in the Army and is a Vietnam War veteran. During his time of service, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 O/S Bars, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Bronze Star Medal and Marksman.

Willie married Heidrun Maria Schaemer on May 14, 2005. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed by Scotts Manufacturing in Ada. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, cooking, running cattle and spending time with family. He was a member of the Community Church.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Woodall and Bertha Woodall, his first wife Judy Woodall, and brother Roger Dale Woodall.

He is survived by his son Christopher Woodall and wife Shelly of Pauls Valley and Heidrun’s children, Mick Granger and wife Merri of Atoka, and Angela Rose Crawford of Caney; six grandchildren, Daniel Granger, Destiny Granger, Mick Granger, III, Bralon Granger, Aurora Jo Harrison, and Aniayah Grace Harrison; sister Arlene Rinehart and husband Lesley (Heavy) of Allen; brother Floyd Lee Woodall of Allen; nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at a later time. Arrangements were by Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
