Service held for Alyne Smith

Alyne Levede Smith passed away peacefully Saturday, May 1, 2021, with Ray and Vickey by her side at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Alyne was born September 13, 1929 in Non, Oklahoma to Henry Leewright and Iva Mae (Yarbrough) Leewright. She attended Moss Public School. Alyne married Alba Lee Smith Sr. (deceased 1997) in February 2, 1947. She was a homemaker. Alyne enjoyed quilting, crafts, going to church and cooking for church dinners. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Alyne is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Don Leewright, and Donna Christenberry who passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021; and son-in-law Gerald Christenberry.

She is survived by her children Vickey Jones and husband Ray of Holdenville, Alba Lee Smith Jr. and wife Sharon of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Sue Brittain and husband James of Broken Arrow; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and sister-in-law Billie Leewright. Alyne is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 4 ^th , at First Church of God with Pastor John Ewers officiating and assisted by Pastor J o s h Kespelher. Interment w i l l follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brad Smith, Derrick Brittain, Cameron Brittain, Bradley Brittain, Austin Brittain and Iasiah McCullough. Honorary pallbearers are Caleb McCullough, Thomas McCullough, Ethan McCullough, Aaron Smith, Jackson Smith, Houston Christenberry, Mark Lowell, Lucas Lowell, Scott Christenberry and Jason Christenberry.
