Betty Jean Morris

Betty Jean Morris, 76, of Ada passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Ada.

Betty was born on August 31, 1945 in Allen, Oklahoma to Carl and Edna (Smallfield) Williams. She grew up in Allen, attending and graduating from Allen Public Schools.

Betty had three loving sons Tim, Andrew, and Robert. She was a homemaker and worked at Solo.

On June 4, 1987, Betty married the love of her life, Billy Alfred Morris, in Ada. They were happily married for 27 years, until his passing in 2015.

Betty was an avid church-goer and was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Ada. She loved going to church every time the door was open, as well as helping out with the various events the church sponsored, especially charity work, as she loved to give to others.

When she wasn’t in church, or working around the house, she enjoyed sewing, playing with her cats, making trips to Walmart, and of course, spending time with her family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Edna Williams, one son, Robert Barrett, and four siblings.

She is survived by her two sons, Tim Barrett and Fiance Karen Duncan of Ada, and Andrew and wife Kim Barrett of Edmond, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
