Linda Olsen Passes Away
Linda Lee Evett Olsen, 85, of Marysville, went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2022. She was born in Allen, Oklahoma, on January 14, 1937, to Hollie and Moselle Evett. Linda was raised in Allen by her grandmother until age 14, before moving up to live with her mother and stepfather in Mukilteo, Washington as a teenager.
Linda graduated from Everett High School in 1955, and met Harold “Mike” Cummins, the two married and went on to have three daughters, living in Edmonds and Marysville. The two were married for more than three decades and remained friends until his passing in 2021.
After remarrying to Norman Olsen later in life, she frequently traveled the world with him until he passed in 2011. She also appreciated the love and remained part of her inherited family the remainder of her life.
She is survived daughters Linda (Pat; deceased) Ellingson; Debbie (Bob) Schurman; Lori (Byron) Scheller; grandchildren Robbie, Shaun (Kris), Stephanie, Brandon, Katrisha (Tyson), and Kevin, and great-grandchildren Kai and Kaden; step-daughters, Olivia (Don) Davis, Linda (Jim) Kinerk; step-sons Peter (Kim) Olsen and Robert Olsen, as well as eight stepgrandchildren.
