Memorial Service Slated for Bill Kelley
William Clyde Kelley, 59, of Okemah, passed away on January 19, 2024 in Okemah.
William was born on May 16, 1964 to his parents Dale and Helen (Allen) Kelley in San Joaquin, California. After he graduated high school, William was enlisted into the United States Army as a young man, and proudly served his country.
William was known for his caring heart and was a care taker to many he loved, including his mother, of whom he loved with all of his heart. He also loved animals and took any many stays in over the years and gave them loving homes. When William was not caring for others, you could find him tending to his garden, out riding horses, shooting guns or sharing his famous Billy Goat Jokes. William truly enjoyed making people laugh, he was a comedian in every aspect of his life, and never let anything get him down. X-Men and Star Wars were two of his absolute favorite film series, and he was very much an avid book reader.
William cherished his family, and was proud in raising his loving bonus son Adrian King and his little Princess Poops-A-lot, Laura, of whom loved William like he was a father. He will be dearly missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to have met him.
“Never take a moment for granted, tomorrow may not show. #FCancer” William is preceded by death by his parents Dale and Jean Kelley, his grandmother Della, and his nephew Aiden Crawford.
William is survived by his son Adrian King, his sister Laura Kelley, nieces Brandee Crawford, Liberty Crawford, Olivia Crawford and Willow Crawford, brother Joshua Kelley, sister in law Tina Kelley, nephews Brayden Kelley, Landen Kelley, Daxton Kelley, brother and sister in law Jacob and Courtney Kelley, niece Constance Kelley, nephew Diesel, sister Della Kelley, bother Daniel Kelley, niece Danielle Kelley, niece Sabra Farris, brother in law Robert Crawford, brother in law Brandon Alsphaugh.
There will be a memorial service officiated by the family in honor of William at 10:00AM on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Phillips Funeral Home with inurnment to follow at Calvin Cemetery
