Service Friday for Zella Gaines

Services for Zella Zane Wallace Gaines, 73, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17th, at the Chickasaw Community Center, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Dixon Chapel Cemetery near Stratford. Her grandsons will serve as bearers.

A Wake service will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gaines passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at her home. She was born July 19, 1950 near Stratford, Oklahoma to Lemme and Nora Smith Wallace.

Mrs. Gaines was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, William of the home; two sons, William Ray Gaines, Jr. and wife Barbara and Wendal Ray Gaines; a daughter, Wilberta Rae Cully and husband Michael; sister, Lavern Walker; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters, two brothers, and a daughter-in-law Kimbrely Gaines.
