Service held for Dearl Ingram
Dearl Dean Ingram, a lifelong Coalgate resident, was born on June 23, 1954, to Albert “Doc” Andrew and Patricia Ann (Baumbach) Ingram, at Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He passed away on July 10, 2024, at his home in Coalgate, Oklahoma, surrounded by loved ones. Dearl was 70 years and 17 days old.
He attended school at Moore, Oklahoma. Dearl was a farmer and cattleman, and also did concrete work for Townsco for more than 20 years. He married Mary Lynn Glass on December 31, 1989, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. They celebrated 29 years together before her passing on December 2, 2019. Dearl was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed baling hay, hunting, fishing and working cattle.
He is survived by his children, Josh Ingram of Cairo, Shaunda Brown and husband Chuck of Cairo, Amanda Frederick and husband Jerry of Allen, and Richie Miller of Ada; grandchildren Peggy May and husband Hunterm William Schmidt, James Brown, Nevaeh Ingram, Kierra Frederick, Cooper Frederick, Paisleigh Miller, Gavin Miller and Sienna Miller; his mother, Pat Ingram of Coalgate; and sisters Debbie Ward and husband Johnny of Cairo, Dianna Lansdale of Stringtown, and Delilah Pebworth and husband Alvin of Coalgate.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lynn Ingram; a son, Jason Miller; his father, Albert “Doc” Andrew Ingram; brother, Donnie Ingram; brother-in-law, Jerry Lansdale; and a nephew, Thomas Lansdale.
Funeral services were 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 16th, at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Joey Lansdale officiating. Interment followed in the Cairo Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy Shockey, Jerry Jennings, Tommy Wood, Gaylon Childrers, Rick Lewis, and Les McCurry. Honorary bearers were Harry Farris, Bob Ward, Pake McEntire, Jack Shirley, Jackie Weakley, Ronnie Palmer, Alvin Cagle, Richie Childers, Peggy Sue May, William Schmidt, James Brown, Chuck Brown, Nevaeh Ingram, Kierra Frederick, Cooper Frederick, Paisleigh Miller, Gavin Miller, and Sienna Miller.
