Services held for Patsy Johnson

Patsy Mozell (Gray) Johnson, 87, was born on November 6, 1937, in Atwood, Oklahoma, to Homer and Beulah Gray. After graduating from Atwood School, she married Marland Morris Johnson on August 22, 1958.

Pat, as she was most commonly known, worked alongside her husband, Marland, as a bookkeeper at Johnson’s Deep Rock until its closure in 1988. She later returned to the workforce at Allen Public School, where she dedicated 25 years of service, and continued to work as a substitute teacher for an additional 15 years at Latta School.

Pat’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved traveling to horse races, variety shows, and sporting events, always cherishing the memories created along the way. She especially treasured attending Allen Mustang events with her son, Dwayne. However, the highlight of her life was her beloved grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness.

Pat passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in Seminole, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marland; her son, Dwayne; her parents, Homer and Beulah Gray; and her brother, J.D. Gray.

She is survived by her son, Darran, and his wife, Angie; her daughter, Sheila Ward; her grandchildren, Cody Johnson and his wife Elizabeth, Ashley Newport and her husband Dustin, Dillon Anderson and his wife Haylee, Dusti Dennie, and Dylan Upton; her brother, Dean Goforth and his wife Sue; and her sister, Claudine Rogers and her husband Gerald.

Pat was blessed with many greatgrandchildren and a life full of love and family.

Services for Patsy will be held on Thursday, November 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Criswell Funeral Home, officiated by Dustin Newport. Pallbearers will be Cody Johnson, Dillon Anderson, Dillon Upton, Ty Hoppe, Tristan Dennie, and Brandon Clifton.
