Mustang Baseball Season Underway

The spring weather always affects baseball schedules, but the Allen baseball team has started its season. Allen opened the season with a trip to Ada and fell 3-2. Senior Jagger Caldwell took the loss giving up 7 hits and walked 2, striking out 8. Right fielder Curt Carlos had 2 hits in the game. Garrett Nix had double and an RBI, Alex Hill, Jack Todd, Brogen Goodson and Caldwell each had a single in the game.

Maxine Reynolds entered her heavenly home March 9, 2024. She was born June 14, 1932, in Atwood, Oklahoma to Homer Amp and Esther Davis. Maxine grew up in Atwood and graduated from Atwood High School with the class of 1950. While in high school, she was active in all class activities and a member of the girls’ basketball team for four years.

Services for Cody Darrell Alexander, Jr., 67, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 15th, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Alan Beck and Rev. Randy Wade to officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14th, at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.
