Freda passed away recently in a Dallas Care Center and remains will be interred in Allen Cemetery at a later date. We loved and we all will surely miss this remarkable lady. Freda’s obituary was published in last week’s Advocate.

A combination of 112 Zombies and Survivors made their way through the streets of Allen Saturday for the Annual Zombie Chase. This is the fi fth time for the race and we appreciate everyone who comes out for a morning of fun. Special thanks to Defi ne Your Direction, Michael West, Allen School, Farmers State Bank and Police Chief Brett Edens for their participation.
