There is no excuse for so many dogs running loose and although you think ‘well I’ll just let my dog out for a little bit’, or ‘my dog wouldn’t hurt anyone it’s friendly’, magnify that by 500 households in city limit and you will see where it becomes a problem. It is a shame how many manhours are dedicated to that issue. The town has purchased a net gun that will shoot out and wrap the dog in a net and allow for us to safely secure the dog and take it to the pound.

Volunteers will be on hand to offer makeup and masks. Join the fun if you dare . . . see if you have the guts to race through the zombie- infested path. Everyone will receive a survivor or infected medal. Awards will be presented for best dressed and most flags. Also Define Your Direction will be handing out Zombie Run T-Shirts to participants on a first come first served bases.

Thetford was not attending in his capacity as mayor.
