Service held Bobby Keith Sliger

Bobby Keith Sliger, 88, of Witter; passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at Washington Regional Medical Center, in Fayetteville. He was born Friday, October 18, 1935, at Holdenville, Oklahoma; to Dewey Edward and Vecil Arie Roberts Sliger. Bobby married Linda Doyle Sliger on Saturday, June 12, 1965 in Atwood, Oklahoma, and together they raised four children. He worked as a Purchasing Agent for JP Emco for many years and was known for his musical talents as a singer and musician, as well as his passion for gardening. His faith in God and his commitment to Harmony Regular Baptist Church were central to his life. Bobby cherished his family deeply, especially his 59-year marriage with his beloved wife Sue.

With a versatile skill set and a can-do attitude, he endeared himself to numerous friends and family members. He was deeply cherished by a wide circle of friends and family, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Vecil Sliger; one brother Larry Kent Sliger; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sliger of the home; three sons, Faye (Sharon) Sliger of Ada, Oklahoma, Robert (Sandy) Sliger of Germantown Hills, Illinois, and Neal (Carla) Sliger of Witter, Arkansas; one daughter, Kathy Thompson of Searcy Arkansas; five grandchildren, Richard (Kristy) Thompson, Kimberly Thompson Schmitz, Chad Thompson, Tonda Wilson, and Rebecca Ballesteros; and seventeen greatgrandchildren, Caleb Wilke, Robert Anthony Sliger, Talon Wilson, Tabe Wilson, Gracie Boen, Boone Boen, Mila Ballesteros, Killean Ballesteros, Cooper Estepp, Kylen Whittle, Kinzlee Whittle, Emery Whittle, Robert Sliger, Heather Sliger, Annabelle Schmitz, Joshua Schmitz, and Nathaniel Schmitz. No services are scheduled at this time at the request of Bob. Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
