Service held for Reba Pettit

Reba Mae Pettit passed away Thursday, August 16, 2024 at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

Reba was born March 27, 1930 in Atwood, Oklahoma to George Danny Black and Minnie “Dot” Grace (Moore) Black. She graduated from Atwood High School.

Reba married Robert Autrey Pettit Jr. on August 6, 1949 at Atwood Nazarene Church. Reba worked in the banking industry. She was the Sr Vice President for First United Bank. Reba is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Leslie Black, Haskell Black, Dallas Black, Dewayne Black, A.G. Black, and Dewell Black.

She is survived by her son Lynn Pettit and fiancee Lisa Woody of Holdenville; grandchildren John Hudson and wife Alex, and Jamie Atwood and husband Dakota; greatgrandchildren Marshal Tucker Hudson, and Sutton Atwood. Reba is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are John Hudson, Pete Huff, Bryan Coleman, Jay Thompson, Vernon Thompson and Zac Jennings. Honorary pallbearers are her nieces and nephews.
