There is no excuse for so many dogs running loose and although you think ‘well I’ll just let my dog out for a little bit’, or ‘my dog wouldn’t hurt anyone it’s friendly’, magnify that by 500 households in city limit and you will see where it becomes a problem. It is a shame how many manhours are dedicated to that issue. The town has purchased a net gun that will shoot out and wrap the dog in a net and allow for us to safely secure the dog and take it to the pound.
